Junior High Audition Music

All Jr. high students will play one major scale (posted the day of the audition) and a chromatic scale.  All scales will be played by memory.

JH  Scales will be chosen from the following; G, C, F, Bb, Eb, Eb, Ab, Db, Gb.
Chromatic Scale will be played as listed:

Flute - 2 octaves starting on concert F

Oboe - 1 octave starting on concert D

Bassoon - 2 octaves starting on concert F

Bb Clarinet - 2 octaves starting on concert F

Alto and Bari Saxophone - 2 octaves starting on concert F

Tenor Saxophone - 2 octaves starting on concert Bb

Trumpet - 2 octaves starting on concert F

Horn - 1 octave starting on concert F

Trombone, Baritone, Tuba - 2 octaves starting on concert F

Percussion - 1 octave starting on concert F

All Jr. high students will perform the etudes from the selections below.
